Once a week or so, for the edification of those who need not wade in the muck and slime of the Bloggernacle, we will pick a suitable Bloggernacle post that may be of some limited value and Correlate it with the principles of the Gospel (plus, I'll comment on other stuff when I feel like it). I mean everything on this site, except when I don't. None of should be taken seriously, except when it is meant that way. It's all supposed to be funny, except when it isn't. I make no claims about being clever or witty, except when I am.

MY MISSION STATEMENT:
Those who find ugly meanings in beautiful things are corrupt without being charming.
Vice and virtue are to the artist materials for an art.
All art is at once surface and symbol.
Those who go beneath the surface do so at their peril.
Those who read the symbol do so at their peril.
It is the spectator, and not life, that art really mirrors.
Diversity of opinion about a work of art shows that the work is new, complex, and vital.
When critics disagree, the artist is in accord with himself.
We can forgive a man for making a useful thing as long as he does not admire it. The only excuse for making a useless thing is that one admires it intensely.
All art is quite useless.

Those who have eyes to see and ears to hear should follow the examples of Oedipus and Van Gogh. The rest shall keep as they are.
Those who get it will get it. Those who don't, won't. I'm a poet and I know it.
