Apparently, no one commenting

So, they're so passionate for moderation, them there Jon Stewart fans that they're

1.  Comparing conservatives to Nazis (#71)

2.  Calling the Tea Party a bunch of "raving lunatics" (#75)

3.  An admission by the post writer he doesn't 'get' conservatism, i.e., his moderation is all a sham (#60)

(I'd mention Adam Greenwood's calls for violence in #7, but I don't think he was actually serious.  It's very odd that Kent in #26 seems to take it seriously, showing the man has no sense of humor - it ties in with his refusal to even consider that conservative ideas have any merit).

In sum, Kent Larsen's plan to restore moderation is for all the right wingers to shut up and go away.

I totally agree.  Except that I'd add - everyone else in the 'Nacle should also shut up and go away.

Yes, the clever Fox uses a lot of big words

But I was struck by this phrase:
When I look at religion, I don’t conceive of it primarily in terms of beliefs which I, as an individual, accept and therefore consider binding; rather, I see it as one of several (often, it is true, conflicting) communities by and through which my sense of myself, and my sense of what I believe, is constituted.
For those of you who can't follow the overly elaborate syntax and high falutin' vocabulary, I'll translate:

For me, the gospel is not the most important thing in my life.  I serve many masters.
I guess that's the loophole.  If Russell serves more than two masters, the scriptures no longer apply, I guess.

Let me sum up Dave's first three paragraphs

Dave's first three paragraphs about Correlation can be summed up thusly:

But, remember - He's "not complaining."  Nope, not at all.

Of course, his "improvement suggestions" are to basically turn Sunday School into a literature class.  That'll make it more interesting - to Dave, anyway.  I'm so glad Dave realizes the rest of the church should think and act like him.

A mega post holding all the lost posts I could get from the magic of a Google Cache

It's not much and the coding is a bit messy, the order is all screwed up, and only some have the comments, but I saved what I could:

Well, I'm back!!!!

Hey, showing that even the Snarkers aren't immune to getting their trousers in a twist and their bras in a bunch and their boxers in a brief (wait - does that even make sense????), it appears that when I wasn't looking, I was somehow removed from Snarkernacle, and all my posts have vanished.

Well, they are welcome to it. Whatever makes 'em happy. I honestly never understood why I was invited over, but considering the blog make the ninety and nine moonshiners look like a banshee on caffeine (now the most recent post is from January! and my similes make even less sense now!), y'know - whatever.

So, I'm back here. It's too bad I lost those posts over there - I wouldn't have minded migrating them over here. Oh, well, even we incorporeal types make mistakes.

Onward and upward, tally and what ho!
